LAYAWAYS
Articles may be placed on layaway with Hiller Jewelry for a maximum of 90 days with a minimum deposit of 30%. Layaways may be cancelled within 30 days of the original layaway with a 20% restocking fee and the cost of any alterations. After 30 days layaways cannot be exchanged or refunded. Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable. In consideration of this merchandise being set aside, customer agrees to make 3 monthly payments in equal amounts.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS
Unless otherwise specified, a purchase may be refunded within 5 days from the original purchase date by the original customer accompanied with the sales receipt. Store credits or exchanges may be permitted within 10 days of purchase with receipt. Any item that shows wear, use or has been modified is not eligible for return or exchange. Sale items, special orders, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

CUSTOM WORK
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems and labor furnished by Hiller Jewelry for a specific customer. As such, all custom jewelry is non-refundable and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort will be made by Hiller Jewelry to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the customer’s complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made to accommodate the wearer at a modest fee.

SPECIAL ORDERS
Special orders are not returnable, and no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch or gift item ordered or altered at the customer’s request.

RETURNED CHECKS
A $25.00 fee will be charged to the customer if for any reason a check is returned to us from their bank.

DIAMOND UPGRADE POLICY
SINGLE DIAMOND – Full purchase price of any loose (single) diamond of 2.00 carat weight or less, purchased from Hiller Jewelry, free of any damages and accompanied by any reports or certificates issued at time of purchase, may be credited, at Hiller Jewelry’s discretion, toward a new purchase of at least twice (2 x) the original purchase price. The new purchase price is our appraised or retail ticketed price. Upgrade policy on diamonds over 2.00 carats is handled on an individual basis.

DIAMOND STUD EARRINGS
Full purchase price of any pair of diamond stud earrings of 2.00 carat total weight or less, purchased from Hiller Jewelry, free of any damages and accompanied by any reports or certificates issued at the time of purchase, may be credited, at Hiller Jewelry’s discretion, toward a new purchase of at least twice (2 x) the original purchase price. The new purchase price is our retail ticketed price. Upgrade on diamond studs over 2.00 carats total weight is handled on an individual basis.
